Reviews for Bedrug Hardtop Headliner Kits for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Good investment that I should have made years ago. I could feel an increase of warmth during winter months.
Installed solo and with top attached.
This is a great item, the price point was nice. pretty easy to install. But the middle liner most likely is easier if you had help.
Works well. Tape could use some help.
Fits well, great fabric.
I have had these installed since 2015 so I was surprised to see such negative reviews. I can’t help but wonder if some of these folks didn’t clean the surface with alcohol before applying adhesive. Mine still fit tight and look great.
Perfect
I read the reviews on the velcro. I've never cared for velcro due to the glue failure over time. I elected to glue the panels up.i used scotch spray 90. It's easy to use if you take your time. Holds well and does not let go.
I will update with photos once I get it all installed. The matts themselves appear to be very good quality, really pleased. Took off 1 star due to tape. As many of the other review state - kind of flimsy and doesn't go to the edge as one might expect. Can'timagine it will stay up as time goes on. I intend to reinforce it in the spots it's lacking with some double-sided artificial turf tape (because I know it's quality).
I've had mine installed for this previous Fall, Winter and Spring months. Definitely was beneficial in keeping Jeep warmer, quieter and generally cozier. Nice looking as well. The last couple of months the front corners, on the front panels, did begin to sag. Not much at all but enough too address once I pulled top off. I simply cleaned it with alcohol, sprayed adhesive then laid some light weights on the corners to let it dry.
Good value item that really reduces noise, heat and cold, and even makes the audio sound better. There are tricks to help installation without removing the Freedom hardtop. Peel the sticker backing only half way off , leaving paper ends accessible, before raising liner sections into place to enable some minor overhead adjustment/alignment before peeling off remaining halves for final stick-in-place. The 4-door JK middle section is quite a tight slide fit, so it really helps if the sound bar is slightly dropped ( loosen six 10mm retaining bolts and remove two hardtop screws ) on driver's side but need not be fully removed . The same trick works of only peeling most backer tapes halfway first, leaving paper ends accessible, sliding liner into place, adjusting and then peeling the second halves before final stick-in-place and retightening /refitting the sound bar. Looks good , professional fit and took only about 30-40 minutes to install.
