Will this kit require backspacing of the wheels?
Backspacing is just a measurement of the rear of the lug mounting surface to the rear lip of the wheel. All wheels have backspacing. Factory is typically 5.5" on your TJ. Aftermarket wheels are typically 3" to 4.5". The lower the backspacing number, the further out from the Jeep the wheel will push the tire. What backspacing you need varies depending on tire diameter, width, fender/flare style, and lift height, among other aspects. The backspacing you specifically need will depend on all those factors. If you plan to run say 33x12.50x15" tires, then you will need new wheels that have backspacing of 3.5-4.5", for example. If you have questions about this, please feel free to contact our Live Chat.

I have a Jeep TJ with a 2” lift and a SYE installed. Will I still need to use the skid plate drop?
With an SYE and CV driveshaft, you will not need to utilize the t-case drop.

Does lowering the transfer case with this kit allow you to keep your stock driveshafts and be without the need of a slip yoke eliminator?
Yes that is the engineering behind that decision to include the t-case drop. This option is good for primarily street driving. If you will be off-roading you really want the slip that comes with a new drive shaft set up though.
