Easy to install. Makes going topless even more fun...

My old soft top disconnects were plastic and had begun to bend and warp. These helped to provide rigidity to the soft top, which improved waterproofing and reduced road noise.

Work as they should, I had to drill two new holes for the bottom ones because they didn't line up, other than that they do the trick.

They work on a 97 TJ, but mine required modification to the slot and diameter of the holes.

They work OK, but after a couple years of intermittent sun exposure they have turned bronze colored. They work, they just look weird.

Holes didn’t line up on bottom connectors on my 1998 TJ. Disappointed that I will need to drill new holes. Top connectors are fine

My review is basically the same as Dustin M. The connects are pretty heavy duty and should work well. The factory connects were installed with pop rivets which have to be drilled out. There are two different sized connects; both of the smaller ones attached without a problem but I had to ream out the holes in the frame in order to get the screws in the larger ones. No one will ever mistake me for a mechanic and I was able to complete this in about 45 minutes, so I’m sure that you can do it also.
