This is a great knob. Just heat in hot water and snap in the insert.

I heated a bowl of water in the microwave for a minute, put the bowl on the counter and let the knob sit in the water for a minute or so and the disc slipped right in with no fuss or troubles at all. Just so we're clear *do not microwave the shift knob*. For some strange reason I felt I should clarify that.

Heat is your friend - use a hair drier to heat up the top of the shift knob. That hard plastic lip will soften and become flexible, allowing the emblem to press-in easy as butter. No glue necessary.

The only thing in the box was the knob, without the lock nut. the emblem was separate in the shipping box. overall, very nice, that said I'd like a similar knob for my 4x shifter.

Easy install. Shift pattern insert is easy to adjust with a small pick. Jeep looks finished on the interior now.

You have to put the knob in hot water to loosen it up enough to get the insert to fit. I guess they assume that you know that LOL!

Insert not attached, not a big deal just extra work.

Nice fit and feel. The shifting diagram was separate. Dont know if it sticks on or clips on.

Looks just the factory original. My only complaint is that the thing is not assembled when you buy it. You have to put the top with the 12345R decal on yourself. It is tough to make it fit. But this great and It looks much better than an old warn out shift knob.
