Works great with my heavy hinges, its helped up great over the last few years. Instead of using the factory 3rd brake light with the extension I installed my GMRS antenna and a flood light on top where the 3rd brake light would go. Super clean install and the extension protects the wiring. Zero issue with the Rugged carrier.

Very solid and easy to install. Works well with the HD hinge.

Easy to install on a 2007 JK Unlimited without the Rugged Ridge Tire Carrier Hinge Casting. I did have to install longer rubber spare tire bumpers with a 295/80/R18, wheels have 4.53 inch backspacing and -12mm offset.

Quick and straight forward install. Didn't get the fifth star because the included hardware started rusting pretty quick.

Hinge casting is great. My issues where you will reuse a lot of hardware so if your Jeep isn’t black the heads will stand out. For the cost they should include new. Also my biggest issue is the wheel studs tack welds are awful. One snapped with almost no pressure. Once we really looked at them all three welds were garbage. I redid all of them the RIGHT way. This took up my time and material. Also when the coat it the coat the threads which also is not a smart thing on their part. Now that it is installed I like it, seems sturdy. Time will tell.
