Reviews for Smittybilt Front Neoprene Seat Covers with FREE Rear for 13-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
These covers are OK. Hard to put on. Not a great fit. Very frustrating!! But ok I guess. Could be better. Could be worse!
The covers look good. The front bottom and rear seats are very easy to install. The front tops are not easy at all. After 2 hours I still don't have the the bottom of the tops pulled through to secure. Please make a video to show how to do this. The clips that holds the front and rear bottoms are weak. Every time I try to pull the covers tight they unhook. I had to use a wire tie to hold them together so I can pull tight. I can deal with the wire ties. If you can show a better way to do the front tops I would give 5 stars. Please take care of this issue so I can order another set for my other jeep.
Two stars. Here's why... they aren't red. They're plum. Maybe mauve. Either way, definitely not red. The only thing that saved them was some outstanding customer service from Quadratec
I ordered this as a replacement to a set of Diver Down covers because of a rip from my dog. I was happy with my first except they did fade. I ordered these simply because they were a little more expensive and thought they may be a little better quality. I was wrong with this assumption. The Smittybilt are almost identical to the Diver Down with the exception of the head rest covers. They are pullovers only. the Diver Down wrap under the head rest and secure with Velcro. Also, the front and rear headrest are two different sizes, but Smittybilt supply the same size covers for both. This, in my opinioin is not acceptable, especially at a cost of over $50 more (Diver Down was on sale at the time). Don't waste your money. Get the Diver Downs
Look great and fit well but did not last long before they started holding smells and fading
I bought these seat covers in may 2017 and now its july 2017 and they are faded. I paid alot for these seat covers and i always use a sun screen in my front windshield but the sides of front seats are faded but I really liked them in may when I got them.
We purchased these to replace our worn Diver Down covers on our 17 JK Unlimited. They were on sale, so I thought I would save a little money to get a similar product. They looked and felt of the same quality but when I went to install them, I found out how wrong I was! Installation sucks, yes, but that’s what you deal with when you want a good fit. After wrestling with the front seats, I went to install the back. The rear headrests do not come off my seats. They aren’t on pegs like the front. However, the back seat covers just have two small holes like the front to slide them over. So without cutting the back, there was NO WAY to get them on. We had to give up, take the fronts off, and start a return. The Diver Down seat covers have a Velcro flap to slide over the headrest and seal back up. It’s my fault for not looking at the return policy, but, we had to pay to ship these back in hopes we can get our money back. The cheapest shipping I could get was $55!!! So now I’ve spent the money I was hoping to save, still don’t have seat covers, and have to hope they will accept the return. Don’t waste your money. Get the Diver Down seats. Ours held up for 4 years prior to this-well worth the $200!
I bought these to replace the Diver Down covers that I purchased 4 years ago and were faded and the drivers bottom seat was wearing out on the edge. The fit is not nearly as good as the Diver Down covers. Seams like they didn't care when designing them. Leaves much more of the original seat covers exposed then the Diver Down did. Rear seat covers only have a couple straps on bottom versus 4-6 per seat on Diver Down. Headrest covers do not fit nearly as well. Only bought these because they were on sale. Would definitely purchase Diver Down next time.
Had to return, they are definitely NOT red, more of a plum color.
Supposed to push through the bottom of front seats. Yeah, that’s not happening. Way too tight to do that. I’m returning.
