Its made of durable plastic. I would recommend it.

Although it does not look like the beeeeest quality piece, the door's now working perfect. And being quite cheap.
Had to ship it to my place, and had no problems at all.

My 2006 Wrangler door would not open, so after taking the door apart I found that the plastic piece behind the door handle broke and the bar that connects it to the latch was just hanging. Replaced it with this Crown door handle and it works great now. Fits perfect and the lock works. Very happy with this purchase.

Did the job. Could not hook up door lock but ok don't use lock anyweay

Worked just fine as a replacement for OEM. Contrary to what I've been told from other "four wheel" online stores, this DOES come with the plastic snaps on the back. To install, you will need to remove the two bars that attach to the clips from the door, put them on the door handle, then slide them back in place and re clip them in the door. I had to remove the window and unbolt the window slider from the door to get the bars back in place.
