Just purchased these bad boys to replace the stock hood catches on my 2000 TJ. So far I'm very impressed with not only the looks but the ease of the assembly process!

Looks good holds my hood down tight and was an easy install.

I though the instructions should have included a little more information. The hood bumpers had to be trimmed down so the base on the fender fit better.

Received quickly and the overall quality is very good. One star deduct for the washers provided are too small and flimsy. Had to reuse the original equipment nut and washer combination in order to be secure.

Would get a higher rating overall if they were easier to torque between the threads. Easy to install, worlds above the factory plastic and rubber. Maybe it’s the angle I installed them at, but did notice passenger side corner of latch hits the hood, so I’ll have to put something there to protect it from vibration. Took about 15 minutes to get installed once the old one came off

Quality is top notch. Gave them only 3 stars because the design needs work. Even at the shortest setting, they would not hold the hood tightly. I had to cut the threaded connecting bolt on both sides to get them to work. Couldn't even use one of the nuts on one side because there wasn't enough room. Great quality and concept, but the design needs further modifications to work as intended.
