Reviews for Dirtydog 4X4 J4TR07R1BK Trench Cover for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
Love the trench covers and so does my dog! I like being able to put my seats down, but my dog was nervous with the crack and sometimes has foot would fall down there and so I found these guys and love them! great addition!
These are great - I never have to take them off I can put seats up and back without having to remove. I don't have to worry about my dog breaking her leg with the gaps when seats are down. Much easier and cleaner look then stuffing towels or blanket down there; keeps debris from falling through.
Perfect, just like the 1st one I bought.
Keeps my dirty dog happy.
These ought to be standard equipment for all JK 4dr models.
It's sad Chrysler hasn't thought of this, but I'm glad Dirtydog did. This is a game changer for us. Our two large dogs travel with us and we were using a pool noodle to cover the hole and protect their paws. This is a simple and affordable option to save Paws.
Ah, yes. The "trench" in a Jeep, aka The Black Hole. My husband cut a piece of pressed wood, covered it with a pad, then covered it with carpeting. It slides into the back of my Jeep where it makes a comfy mat for my three standard poodles. However, the "trench" required us to stuff a thick towel in it because of it being such a deep hole. We did not like the air space between the carpeted pressed wood and the trench. It was an air pocket and would flex whenever our poodles walked on it. The trench cover has allowed us to eliminate the thick towel completely. We still slide the carpeted pressed wood on top of it, but it's a much nicer fit. Realistically, we don't need the pressed wood insert any longer; but in an effort to keep our Jeep in pristine shape, we prefer to use it. The trench cover is a really good invention, and we like the fact you can put one seat up and leave the other down while the trench cover is in use. For anyone who views their Jeep's "trench" as a black hole, I highly recommend the trench cover.
Perfect fit. We usually have the back seat down so this really improves the utility of the big back space.
love love love. I am constantly worried that my goofy husky will tear a paw pad on the exposed seat hardware when they are folded down. This does the trick. Solid and easy to install!!!
Ordered these last minute when I was trying to figure out how to take a persnickity dog on a 9 hour trip. I paid extra for quicker shipping. They arrived timely. I installed them in about 5 seconds and immediately made a nice bridge over that little trench. Plenty of room to lay a dog bed over and the dog now has a safe, flat space to relax while I drive. Definitely recommend!
