Perfect !
I received a set of these last week. It was about 60ºF the day I installed them. The passenger door was closest to the door to my house so I installed that side first. I had to flex it quite a bit to get it to fit but it worked out great and looks good! I then went to the drivers side, I installed it the same exact way. When I flexed it to get it to fit, it shattered into about 14 different pieces! I wasn't really surprised because they do take quite a bit of flex to get installed. But this was obviously my mistake! This made me sad initially. Then I called Quadratec and explained the situation. I have to say, their customer service is top notch! Another set on it's way. Amazing! Thank you Quadratec!
Looks easy to install and fits into window channel
very nice.
Easy install, 10 minutes total including prep (I clean all inclusive area before). Fits good and snug.. Looks great and keeps the rain from dripping in with window cracked.
Just installed this. Looks great. Fitment on this is very tricky and if you aren't careful you can crack the plastic as you flex it in order to get it in place. My install notes: don't even think about installing it if the air temp is under 70 degrees. The warmer, the better. Fit from the front to the rear like in the vid. Rehearse the install once or twice with the adhesive tape still covered. Don't actually install it. Just get a feel for how much you're need to flex the plastic- a lot! Once you have a feel for it, get the plastic nice and hot so that it'll flex easily. Blow dryer didn't get it hot enough so I held it inside an oven set to 170 degrees. This thing is too big to fit completely inside the oven so I held it with my hands and kept it from touching the grates. Heat both ends. When the plastic is almost too hot to touch, it's ready to install. Do it quickly while the plastic is still hot to the touch. Use a dental pick to remove the adhesive covering. Fit from front to rear. Flex AND twist the end to get it to fit. Use your hands to guide the bend so that all of the stress isn't in one place on the plastic. A PITA to install the first side but the second side goes easier. Even though it's a super tight fitment if you do it right you'll be rewarded with something that probably will never rattle itself off. Good luck.
