Well it's a pretty simple idea. A cable hangs down from a pulley above your top, goes across the ceiling to a pulley by the wall and then down to the crank handle. Except they don't give you the second pulley. They expect the cable to go from above your top diagonally down to the crank handle. This cannot work. As you lift your top it hits the cable. You need to go out and buy an additional pulley. I got one on Amazon for $10. They know this can't work because even in the video when They demonstrate lifting the top they show lifting it with an electrical motor set up which is totally different. A little disappointing for the price but after the extra parts it works pretty good.
