Really good product. Works great and easy to install. I'd give it a 5 but the hardware (screws) are fragile and break easy when installing and one of the styrofoam supports for the t-tops was missing. Overall a pretty good value.

The hoist works great. Instructions were very well written. Only improvement I would make is to make the handle bigger so it doesn't take as long to raise and lower the hoist.

This was my third lift I have installed. The first two did not have hand cranks and I added those myself prior to installation. This unit had a crank. Great addition to the package. Simpler to use for most people. The installation of the double wire concept in your DVD was confusing.

All in all, you have three satisfied customers who pass on your product to their Jeep friends.

I really liked the quality of components used. Feel much better lifting it with a steel cable then straps. The crank system is very rugged and all parts fit together easy. The screws that hold the main pulley over the hardtop worked fine but I doubled up the framing with some extra 2x6 pieces and lagged them in to extra holes for added support. Just felt better knowing it was holding with bigger lag bolts then 2 drywall type screws. It definitely took me a couple hours to install by myself and then another hour to dissemble the hardtop and actually lift it off for first time. After seeing how's it sits in garage I might move top pulley back in fall once hardtop is back on jeep. Really happy I can do it by myself instead of asking for help to take it off and put it back every year. Great product and price.

Items not included in package - second pulley for corner of the wall between the manual crank and ceiling pulley that hangs directly over where you will lift your jeep top. :( Printed instructions - NON EXISTENT :( Video instructions exactly as shown on website. Easy to install once you get the secondary pulley. Don't forget to use silicone of some lubricant on the worm gear or you get a lot of annoying noise.

Installed the Lange Originals 014-220 Crank Hoist-a-Top for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK. The first thing I should have done was taken one of each provided screws and bolts to the hardware store and bought quality replacements. Those provided are pure junk. Several screws stripped out. Also had a pulley bolt head break off while being tightened. The lift appears to work well although Its still too wet and cold to pull my top. The rolling cylinder could be increased in size x 3 to speed up the operation.

Very disappointing that second pulley not included. Means this is incomplete and you need to buy a second pulley. If you are not aware of this then half way through installing it becomes evident.
