Reviews for Quadratec Gen II LED Headlights for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Have a problem here as I thought the wiring harness looked the same as on my imported Jeep, not the case so im about to email the guys and ask can I return them. Not their fault. Pity cos they look real good, Hard to review but just on the aesthetic side I would give them a 4 just for looks, bet they work good too. They do warn you, MAKE SURE IT FITS YOUR RIDE
Amazing replacement (more like repair) to the stock headlights. White light and a world of difference at night. VERY easy to install with the modulators. Worth the purchase.
Great headlights. Easy installation.
Way brighter than stock (but then what isn't?).)
I only gave them 4 stars because even with the anti flicker harness I still notice flicker every now and then.
Also they don't melt snow.
Installed on my 2007 JK Unlimited. They replaced the stock headlights and are a definite improvement. The only issue I had was when using the PWM harnesses on both headlights, the passenger side light went completely out, when using the high beams. I found a fix on one of the Jeep forums that replaced the PWM harness on the passenger light with just a converter plug. Works great and no flicker. Excellent headlights.
Low beams work great and install was easy. High beams, the passenger headlight will flicker and go out. I have tried multiple different anti-flicker boxes and tried switching the headlights as well.
I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and these headlights did not fit perfectly in the housing, which created a bit of a gap on the sides. I put tape around the gaps to try and keep any type of water out, so we shall see if there are any issues that arise.
Had them almost two years and one burnt out on me already. Hopefully the warranty will replace it
Beam is bright but the point does not focus well.
review is a little late, but oh well. bought these a few years ago for our 2016. easy install. the good pretty much ends there. yes, they look cool, but there is an obvious hot spot that takes your focus away. the low beam really isn't that good. I thought maybe my aim was off, but a dealership tech confirmed I aimed it correctly. the high beams are great, if you happen to be on a dark road with no street lights and can make use of them. basically, I haven't removed them because I am lazy, and they are slightly better than stock. our lease ends soon. if we keep it, I will look in to replacing with a better light. if we don't, I will remove them and resell them.
The light is brighter than the EOM headlights for sure. However, Im disappointed on how dirty the light output is. Its broken and more intense in some areas on the rod than others. It almost looks like your driving with mud on your headlights.
