Reviews for Quadratec Mirrors for 97-06 Wrangler TJ with Tube & Fabric Doors

For fit I would give them much higher rating. But when you have to take the rubber trim off every time it brushes against a pine brow because it knocks it off they get the 2. They could have sent a few more cents and used some glue to keep them on. It is just for looks it doesn't hold the mirror in. I know they are in expensive but even then I would expect them not to come apart in normal use. It on a Jeep it is going to get brushed against brush once in a while. I don't have the pivot set so tight that it won't move if it hits some thing solid, but touch a little pine branch and it will take off the rubber.

I'm really disappointed with these mirrors. I've been trying to use them for over a year, but I've just settled on the fact that they're garbage and so I've now placed them in their home. They vibrate enough that they're useless even when they're pointed the right way, and they HOWL down the highway making them an embarrassment. They're hard to mount and impossible to get tight enough to be useful. Even after designing and 3D printing a wrench to help me clamp down the "finger screw" harder than my fingers could possibly on their own, they still fold in under the pressure of 65mph air once I get on the highway. That makes them totally useless in every respect. They're also not really at a useful height (nor adjustable) which means I can't even see the passenger one out of the soft uppers on the half doors. What's the point?

Sad to have given Quadratec $40 for these and still chuck them into the bin. I should have realized they were never going to work before the return window expired. My advice is get something different.

The mirrors vibrate terribly and make viewing ineffective.

Shipping was quick but these deteriorated quickly. Some sort of delamination and red spots appeared at the bottom of both mirrors within 4 months. And no warranty of any sort

Pathetic. Didn’t even get them on. Went to tighten the bolt that secures the mirror head in place and the bolt broke completely.

Horrible mirrors for my jeep.they look great but are horrible i start my jeep and all the mirrors do is shake they won't stop shaking I tried righting bolts I tried loosening. Will he returning
