Easy install

My greatest expectations were exceeded with this whole purchasing experience. From pricing and vehicle match to speed of delivery and quality. It looks like it came from the factory! The instructions were in color, very legible and easy to follow for both the hitch and the wiring harness. Both were installed in about an hour. Even the shipping box was way sturdier than expected. I simply can not say enough for Quadratec! They sure earned a repeat customer in just one purchase.

A quality product, made with the same workmanship of similar more costly hitches. Quadratec offers simple instructions that are easily followed. Finding the exact hitch to fit my Hard Rock edition bumper was made easy. Hardest part of the assembly is taking off the existing bolts from the bumper. Also watch the spacing bar as you remove the final bolt, it may slip down on you. Wiring was easy, and simply to route from the taillight. I genuinely like the OEM look with the Jeep logo Hitch Plug

The hitch looks great and wasn't too difficult to put on. I purchased a ratcheting wrench because of the limited space between the bumper and the muffler. Wiring harness is simple to put on.

First off, those complaining about missing hardware, you ordered the wrong hitch. This hitch is for the models with the screws already there, and the bumper has the "nuts" already welded to it. I installed this on my 2018 JKU Golden Eagle and it fit perfectly! The hardest part of the install was getting the bolts torqued to 80ft/lbs laying on my back. The wiring harness is top notch and very easy to install and route. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

Great Hitch. I just want to mention, Once the spacer comes loose the tube in the bumper will flex. To install the hitch without frustration, when the bolts are being reinstalled push the tube back towards the hitch. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why the same bolts weren't going in the same holes. Then I saw the flex. Also, make sure ALL of the retaining clips are cleared out. once you loosen the bolts, some of them collapse and bits fall into the bolt holes.

Love my receiver. Looks like it was installed at the factory. I have no fear pulling my jetski around with it. Heavy duty look and feel. Make sure you tighten it down to 80 FT pounds and not 80 Inch pounds. I got the wrong torque wrench at first. Autozone will let you rent 'click type' torque wrench for free. (will refund your money upon its return). Despite some reviews, you do NOT need to remove or drop the muffler. Welding on the bolts was a nice touch to make it easier to install. Thanks for that. Hooking up the light kit was also easy. It was plug and route cable. Good instructions. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
