Reviews for Quadratec Roller Fairlead License Plate Mount
The mount is excellent quality; probably equal to the Smittybilt version which costs about double. However, it is important to know the center-to-center distance between the roller fairleads. Quadratec does not provide this information in their advertising, only stating that it fits standard roller fairleads. The rollers on my Smittybilt XRC 9500 winch are 8.25" apart; the clips on the holder are about 9" apart. I solved this problem by drilling new holes for one of the clips. When clipped on, the holder feels quite secure, and the license is not noticeably off center. As an added precaution I ran a 1/16" braided wire around one of the license tag screws (between the tag and the holder) and attached the other end of the wire to the bumber guard.
Great item. Sturdy and all metal. Fits my farelead with no issues.
Sturdy. Missing 1 of the screws needed to assemble but I had a matching one laying around. I was able to use this in conjunction with the Daystar KU70047BK Winch Hook Isolator which was nice. Just free spool the hook and isolator out 1/2 an inch, clip the license plate mount onto the rollers and it's done.
Slightly too big for rugged ridge fairlead, but bowing it allowed it to fit perfectly
Perfect for those states that require 2 plates
Awesome product for states that require a front plate. One word of caution. Makes it real easy for someone to steel your plate.
This product is well worth the money. It came with all the need hardware and the plate mounted nicely. The bracket mounts very securely to the rollers on the fairlead and actually takes some effort to get off. If you have a rolling fairlead and need to mount your plate on the front this is a great option.
Easy install, fit perfect, looks great.
Quick and easy install, looks great too.
A must if you have a fairlead and HAVE to run a front plate(maine). Easy off to use winch.
