Works great!

Holds the hood prop bar great, but you'll want to attach the clip to the hood with some JBWeld or something.

clip felt as if holding prop rod loosely---tried to bend in slightly and snapped---should have known---spring steel don't bend...

I got it to work on 2003 TJ after bending the tiny the upper catch tab "up" in order for it to lock in place inside the hood slot; it will pop out from time to time if you push the hood prop back into the retainer with too much force. The plastic OEM version is much better.

received the clip this morning, looks like just what I was expecting.
went to put it on and the tab that holds it on snapped off!

installed easily but snapped within a week.

Tab broke first day I used it. Gave it 2 stars because I think if you hooked this to the hood support rod instead of the hood it might actually work. Not as intended and not real great, but serviceable.

Kind of a "must have" item. Doesn't seem to hold it's spring tension very long though. It's not like it is used every day but they just don't hold up like the original ones.

Junk. Ordered 3. Two broke immediately. Cheap "made in China" metal. Don't buy!!

I gave this product a one-star because there is not a way to give it a negative-star rating. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP, and CHEAP crap from Quadratec. You had better by multiples of this item because the hook will easily snap upon install. I bought two and the hook immediately snapped on both. One snapped off the hood and landed in the trash can. How fitting!
