Reviews for QuadraTop Premium Sailcloth Replacement Soft Top in Black Diamond for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
Nice replacement for my beat up ole top. Replaced the header at the same time. It is great to see thru the windows, have less wind noise and be able to zip the windows off and on.
Great product and easily replaced with instructions provided, the fit was excellent on my 2007 unlimited and it took about an hour to install.
Product seems to be good so far. Back window had a minor blemish but other then that works good.
The top on my 2011 Wrangler 4-door was beat. The zipper for the rear window broke, and someone put a cigarette butt on the top and it melted a hole in it. I bought this Quadratop replacement and couldn't be more pleased. Forget the paper instructions. I watched the installation video twice before it arrived, then watched on the laptop as I went along, disassembling the old top and installing the new. It was easy - went without issue, the video was excellent. The Quadratop fits Better than the original top, and the zippers are way easier to zip and unzip. Two differences from the video: the snaps on the spring covers on the original top wouldn't come off without breaking them. Second, masking tape to hold the top on the front rail didn't work for me, so I used sticky, metal duct tape, and it worked great. The product looks great, and I'll definitely be purchasing more products from Quadratec; I had a top-notch experience, and the top is exceedingly well-made. Thanks!
I replaced my OEM soft top with clear windows with this top and I love it! The installation wasn't bad, aside from weather deciding to rain just after the old top was removed it was pretty quick too. Took about 2.5hrs with the weather stalls. I will say the YouTube video tutorials were easier to follow than the instructions though. But all in all it was relatively easy to install and it looks great, and it's even quieter inside while driving! Anyone with a Jeep can appreciate that. I'd definitely recommend this top!
First time ordering a top
Ordered last year and it was back ordered for a few months. Finally got it put on and it seems good so far. One thing I'm not a fan of is that the rear side windows are not squared like the original pictures of this top. The windows get smaller towards the back. Not sure why this change. Would have been nice to see an updated picture of the top online.
Summer can't get here soon enough. Tackling this project during the winter is my own mistake. All fits well except the front not stretching enough to seal well. I trled raising the temp of the garage to 80°. Just did not quite get the material soft enoughgh.
Got this from the wife and kids off of my wishlist... needed it badly. Has been in box for 2 years because of a variety of reasons, but finally got around to installing.
Not mister do it yourself, but instructions were solid, did 90% without assistance, just need some help when doing the final screwing into the frame for the back sections. A little sketch to see behind the curtain that is our soft tops, but had it on the highway going 60+ and it hasn't flown off yet.
Installation time estimated is solid, even with checking the frame, cleaning and maintaining, took just over 2 hours.
I have an '08. Be patient and don't attempt to install until able to warm the top in hot sun. The warmer the better. Was able to install on own. Having one set of instructions for 07-09 and 2010 and up models confusing. For instance, no mention in documentation on how to use the covers for the spring. One of rubber rain mouldings was very difficult to install. You really need to use force. My thumbs are still killing me. The biggest complaint was lack of guid holds on the cloth for attaching top to cross bars (middle and back) First time putting left window panel, when tried securing to bottom rail, it pulled away from top zipper. I think this was due to temp and not fully stretched. Hope that's the cause. Jury's not out on wide window panels but please with the rest of the top
