I used truck bed liner on them and then silicone caulk them to try and prevent erosion. 3 years later with outdoor parking, they look brand new.

So glad I found these... rock solid quality and no mirror shake. Quadratec for the win! These are the best available relocation brackets for a TJ. The previous relocation brackets I tried were not only more expensive, they resulted in my mirrors shaking so much they were unusable at night AND the nuts and bolts that came with the product rusted after only a few months. Quadratec even included new door straps together with this kit. Best price and quality, well done!!!

Perfect fit and installation was easy. Only did driver's side as passenger side is useless when doors are still on from previous Jeeps.
