Reviews for Vertically Driven Products 31555 Stock Bumper Full Width End Cap Conversion Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
I absolutely love these. They are exactly what I wanted. I did not want to have to replace my entire bumper at this time
These end caps are really neat. They are plastic like the stock bumper but they blend in really well. It wouldn't take much to make one come off so don't go ramming anything with them but I've had them for about 8 months and they are just as secure as when I put them on. Easy to put on with a reciprocating saw. Took about 30 minutes to install.
I've had these on my Jeep for two years and they look just as good as the day I put them on. Blends in perfectly with the factory bumper. No regrets here!
was hesitant to cut into factory bumper but glad I did .love the look
Great product! Really easy to install. I am however going to do away with the plastic pins and go with a 1/4” nut and bolt. Overall I’m really impressed with my (new) bumper!
Great product. Easy install with very clear instructions. I didn't use the push pins but used 10 stainless steel button head bolts with lock nuts and washers(2) 2' x 1/4" and (3)2.5" x 1/4" per side. They are rock solid and look great!
Excellent product with great looks. The instructions are good, but you will need to trim the splash pan a bit for them to slide on. The bumper body is very sturdy. The plastic pins are OK. I did however improve in the push pins by going to the local hardware store. I bought 10, quarter-inch by 2 inch stainless steel button head bolts and lock nuts. When you line up the bumpers to drill the holes simply go all the way through the steel, fasten the new hardware and the bumpers are now solid tight. Hit the pan heads with some flat black paint for a great look that matches your JK.
Very Good
Simple to install only took 30 minutes.
I installed a Vertically Driven Products 31555 Stock Bumper Full Width End Cap Conversion Kit yesterday. I had damaged one of the ends on my stock bumper by hitting the side of the garage when I was pulling in. I like the looks of some of the aftermarket front bumpers, but just don’t have the budget for one right now. This was a very economical option of both repairing the damage and adding some style. I am very pleased of the outcome. This mod only took me around 30 minutes to complete.
