Reviews for Bestop Supertop NX Twill Soft Top for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door
Love love love this top! Fits like a glove and so much quieter than the old top.
So far, so good. I installed it myself in 3 hours at a leisurely pace, including removing my hard top. The instructions were easy to follow. It was imperative to let the top warm in the sun (85F) so it would stretch to fit. Still, the first time was difficult. Lubricant on the zippers helped A LOT. The side windows wouldn't fit all the way into the slot by the doors at first, but eventually they did. IMPORTANT--Bestop says insert the rear of the top first, then pull the top closed at the windshield to make it tight. That was a nightmare. Doing it the opposite--from the front first, then pull the back tabs in at the rear of the Jeep, was much easier. No leaks. Some wind noise, as with all ragtops. Easy up and down now that it has stretched a bit. LEAVE IT UP at least a week after first installation so it stretches.
my wife and I installed this top. Definitely required both of us as the top is very tight. But after installation I'm very happy because there's no wrinkles and it is tight as a drum. The instructions were easy to follow. I am very happy so far.
Great soft top! Great quality!
This top is great. Since it wasn't the proper temp outside we put together everything inside where it was warm. Everything went on well. It was a snug fit, but we were able to get it done. So far I'm extremely happy with the extra money I spent on the twill fabric.
Twill is the best. Had it on my TJ, just bought it for my JK.
Fit both Jeeps perfectly.
I had mine installed. Great looking top,...but... the back window was a real problem even after the top was down and I was putting it back up. Instead of metal zipper pulls like on the side windows, Bestop put string pulls on the zippers witch broke and I had to use zipties. Also, be sure the zipper pulls are together, or you will have a problem closing the zipper.
The quality is amazing BUT unfortunately the installation is frustrating because many of the screws don’t completely screw in and many of the holes are completely misaligned
I ordered this top back in February, received it in March and it has stayed in the box until 4 days ago when it was finally over 72 degrees and I had the day off. It took almost exactly 3 hours from the time I backed my Wrangler into my garage to remove the hard top until installing this top was complete. Yes, the fabric was tight but I expected that and am happy that it is. No canvas flapping at highway speeds like my last soft top. The zippers all fully engage with no gaps. It has rained since I put it on and the only leaks that I have are the same leaks that I have when my hard top is on. I'm glad that I invested the money on this one.
My side windows don't seal completely in the door surrounds. Wind blows in from the spots that aren't sealed, making it annoying to drive at the highway speeds.
