Reviews for CSF 3466 OE Replacement Radiator with Aluminum Tank & Core Radiator for 07-11 Jeep Wrangler JK
Had this installed in my 2011 JK over two years ago and no leaks no problems what so ever . The temp gauge does not move off of center one degree no matter how hard I wheel it
Excellent all aluminum radiator fit perfectly.
Great quality product, but not exact OEM fit. I had to trim off the upper mounting bracket at it rubbed the power steering bottle. The fan tray did not seat deep enough in the lower brackets, so I had to use a Dremmel tool to cut out the fan mount tabs. The upper plastic cover did not lign up with the holes, so I modified the plastic cover by drilling new holes. Last, the side A/C mounting bolt did not align, so I just left it off.
Overall, the mods where not difficult to overcome, but the manufacturer could take just one more step to get it perfect, even if they had to charge a couple more bucks.
So far no leaks. I would buy it again. Never liked the plastic ones.
This radiator arrived in excellent condition. It has been a couple weeks and It is working great so far. Installation was a breeze except for one issue. The drivers side mount for the condenser hose bracket does not line up properly.
The radiator is constructed of aluminum and the welds are solid. This feels like a heavy duty piece of equipment. It loses points however for only being a 80% match to my JK. The AC unit doesn't fully align, but that's only one bolt not going in. But the fan also doesn't fit correctly. It drops down into the brackets but then the mounting bolts don't align. I kept one side in the bracket, bolted the other side and then used a zip tie to secure it....that SHOULD hold! If I had to buy a radiator again, I would spend more and get one that completely fits.
for the money its an ok radiator but has a few issues. first was with the ac condenser mounting holes. i had to been one of the brackets to get all the bolts to line up. second on the power steering reservoir the radiator mounting bracket was rubbing up against it so i had to trim the radiator mounting bracket. third the fan shroud lower mounting tabs had to be modified to let it slide down far enough for the upper fan shroud mounting bolts to line up. forth the upper radiator mount brackets are almost to big for your factory bushings. for the money its a nice two core radiator and so far no issues. if i had to do it again i would buy it again the problems were not to great that it would not make me not buy it again. just passing the info on to anyone else who is thinking about buying it
