Worked as expected

When the wind ripped my factory strap, I did a temporary fix with zip ties. It was temporary since after they creased and were used a few times they broke. I ordered these since they appeared to be similar to the original. The adjustable slot made it easy to set it to an appropriate opening. I read a negative report, but tried it anyway since we are not hard users. So far, so good. I'm happy and no more yelling at my wife to watch the door.

My jeep is not a DD, and after only 3 4x4 trips the segmenting stitching broke on both straps.

Definitely NOT heavy duty! Original factory one (15 years old) broke when the door got caught by heavy winds. The "Heavy Duty" replacement broke when I opened the door a little too hard, stitching popped right out.

Broke on first use. You’d think the stitching would be better

I only give it one star because there is no option for zero. The first strap broke the first day it was on the Jeep. The other side lasted less than 10 days. Overall, they really couldn't be worse. It doesn't seem that hard to stitch nylon straps together, but they managed to fail at it.

finally installed mine after getting a new paint job and after 2 weeks the stitching broke. Door flung open in a light wind, hit the window post and broke my drivers mirror. Don't buy this product until the quality improves

Quickly broke and now doors open too far. Product needs improvement!
