haven't actually hooked it up yet but the unit is the best quality that i have seen. shipped a day early as well. i think it will last for years. I just bought a new set of electronic and programable gauges so i should be good for another 30 years.

This is what I was looking for.

Seems good as replacement for my '83 CJ7. Other's have said the the tank nut was useless but mine was a perfect match. The only problem I had was that I had do drill out the filter sock so it would slip over the sending unit fuel pickup tube.

I would have given this five stars if it wasn't for an issue that needs to be resolved. I order a lot from quadratech and they are a very reliable seller and I always received my product fast. The issue relies on the nut that comes with the kit. As others have stated the nut is useless and you will need to use your stock existing nut to install. The nut that comes with the kit does have incorrect threads on it and will not thread and seal properly on your stock tank. Come on quadratech why do you sell a product that obviously has an issue that other buyers have complained about and has not been resolved. Contact Crown about the issue or put something in the listing that states that you may have to use your stock nut to install. Other than that I did have to calibrate the sending unit. After installing my gauge was about a quarter of a tank off and to calibrate it was by carefully bending the float rod to adjust it for the gauge to read correctly. After doing that everything worked great.
