The Tuffy Hood Lock provides a means to control and secure access to items under your hood, something amazingly not addressed by Jeep! Installation is quick and easy. The instructions are clear. Be careful with the tapping bolts and fastening bolts, The metal of the radiator frame is somewhat thin and the threads can easily be stripped. Highly recommended product.

I've been wanting to install a K&N cold air intake, but I wanted to secure the hood first since I live in Chicago where people like to "help themselves" to anything that isn't tied down. This was easy to install and securely locks the hood down tight. This would also help with "hood flutter" if you are having that issue as well. Waiting to see how it holds up after a winter with the road salt..

Easy to install, took me less than 30 minutes. Instructions are clear and simple to follow. Seems to have plenty of engagement with the hood latch to deter those looking for a quick grab and run.

Easy install. You don't have to completely remove the grille. Just the top fasteners and pull it forward at the bottom. Four screws and that is it. Easy to access from front of grille. Two keys included and can order more. My Jeep sits at work all day in a big lot and I wonder about losing the battery. No more now.

Works great and simple to install. Just have a little patience and make sure to add a little pressure as you drive the cutting screws as they tend to wobble a bit. They will just spin in place if you don't add pressure. Lock works great!

Fine hood lock once installed. Helps with hood shake in the wind. HOWEVER...the ‘thread cutting bolts’ that came with the kit were NOT! To the hardware store you go. Also kit did not include the warranty card, the key card or the maintenance instructions as labeled on the kit packaging.
