Reviews for Hi-Lift XT 485 PC Jack X-Treme Jack 48" in Charcoal Metallic
Very heavy duty feeling, but this is my first off-road jack. A lot of extras in this mount I was not expecting. I’m going to use titan straps to mount it to my roll bars as it’s just me and three dogs so I don’t care if it overhangs on passenger front seat. I’m going to use 4 straps just for added security but 2 feel really secure. For off-road I think 4 straps will be optimal and it would only cost around 35.00 dollars. I use the titan straps to mount my hatchet and small non foldable shovel to drivers side rear roll bars.
easy install, looks great!
I have had several Hi-Lift jacks in the past and this is my favorite thus far. Nice finish, looks good on the Jeep and works smoothly.
It's a Hi-Lift jack, and the quality of the finish is excellent. It will rust but not to the extent the less costly ones will. For the price, it's excellent.
Your buying this one for the look. There isn't really a functional advantage with this jack over the less expensive HiLift option.
I like it. Strong and well built. Just like the one I had years ago. Can't go wrong with an American company that has been around as long as Hi-Lift has.
Exactly as expected. Just got it, so far havent needed to use it.
This is a great jack, very easy to use and really versatile. Already used it a couple times for pulling, haven't needed it to lift anything yet. Great looking grey finish, and goes perfect on my HardRock bumper. But I've had this thing less than two months, and I live in New Mexico where it's really dry, and it's already rusting in several spots. This is only from one trip to the car wash and two rains. Kind of disappointed in the finish - This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
