A must have for a lifted Jeep. I installed these as well as a 3” zone lift and couldn’t be happier. Took about 1.5 hours for install. 15 mins for the drivers side and the rest for passenger because my upper control arm bolt was hitting my exhaust during removal.

When I purchased my Jeep it just had a 2.5" spacer lift. Steering was flighty and I was always adjusting to keep it in the lane at anything over 40mph. These brackets completely solved that issue. With the adjustments, the suspension works much better as well. Not nearly as much jarring when hitting a small bumps. They're built solid and pretty easy to install as well. I hadn't done much wrenching for about a decade and I got them on in about 2-2.5 hours on my own.

I haven't installed yet but it looks like excellent quality, like all the AEV stuff I have used in the past.

I bent one of mine on a rock. These are an exact replacement for the original AEV lift kit. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Great ride quality. Definitely smoother when going over speed bumps or hitting tranisitions on the interstate. However i didn’t notice much of a difference in steering, as stated by others with these brackets. Then again, I’m only running the 2.5 inch lift. Perhaps people with larger 3.5-4.5 inch lifts would notice more of a difference. In regards to the install, I was actually able to get all the bolts out without issue. Sadly I had already paid $11.50 plus shipping for the upper control arm bolt that everyone online said had to be cut. I don’t know if I got lucky or what, but my bolt came out fine, it was just slightly touching the exhaust. I used an open box wrench to turn it out. Yet, I did have to reinsert the bolt through the other size when I installed the brackets. It didn’t fit with the brackets in place.

Installed these on my Jeep JKU after installing a Mopar 2”(which is really 3.5” front 2” rear) The ride was rougher than stock when hitting bumps and potholes and very jarring after the lift but once the AEV brackets were installed it was a night and day difference. The Jeep now rides much better and smoother just as it should. Highly recommended on a lifted JK! The Mopar lift is great but this refinement was necessary.

Works great

I installed this at the same time as a Mopar 2 inch lift. I can't really feel much difference from stock. I've noticed one of the bolts started coming loose, hopefully it's just a one time thing.
