This product worked as it described I installed the rubber insert along with it, confirm the locking clips were in the correct position, installed the shifter and smacked The shifting knob a couple times with a rubber mallet and it locked in the place.

Worked fine, easy to install on top of a new rubber insulator. On a '93 YJ there was no need to crawl under the Jeep, it can be done from the interior - loosen & remove shifter boot, clean out any remains of old insulator & clip, install insulator into the clip, apply a little dishwashing liquid to lubricate, install clip with insulator onto the shifter stub, start the socket of the shifter rod onto the assembled part and with a few light taps of a rubber mallet it clicks together, and bolt shifter boot into place.
