I just bought my first Wrangler. It had a half inch of extra gap between my windshield and soft top. The wind noise was crazy loud and the leaking wasn't bad but still worried me. I just got the new header installed and took the Jeep out. It's amazing how much quieter the cap is. The top is super tight too. It's a 2007 model.

Great product at a great price

I have a 2008 JKU. The wind noise was so bad I couldn't hear my kids in the back seat. I also had water leaks everytime it rained. Just put the new windshield channel on last night. Took the family out for a drive, and my wife and I could hear each other whispering at 75mph. Couldn't be happier!

If you have an older model JK and are experiencing wind noise above the windshield and water leaks on your dash - get this header. It has a strong metal top piece in lieu of the original plastic one and it makes all the difference in the world. The fit is much tighter and you notice it immediately as soon as you latch down the softtop.

I purchased this for my 2008 2 door because of a bad case of wind noise with the stock plastic header. This did everything to fix that and the shipping was super fast. However the instructions were very vague and didn't include as much as it should. Only 4 steps were in the instructions and that's for assuming the top is completely off and laid flat on the ground. Also the hardware was slightly cheap, and the small Phillips screws stripped out easily. The product did fix my issues, but it could have been slightly better for a 5 star review.

I purchased this to replace the factory soft top header/windshield channel that came with a used top I purchased. The upper header is made of metal on this one which makes the whole unit a lot stronger. This fixed all the leaking and wind noise problems that I was experiencing. The old header didn't fit properly around the windshield and caused it to warp over time and start leaking, this one is designed to fit much better and shouldn't warp ever. it came with extra screws and self adhesive foam weather stripping in case your old stuff was warn out. The instructions were easy to follow, my soft top was a little different from the one in the instructions but it still worked fine.
