Purchased this for my 2007 2 door wrangler. Installation was pretty straight forward. Took me about 2 hrs. Fit to the front windshield is much better than the plastic one that was on it. The original plastic part broke.

No noise now and no leaks

Wow! This is a simple fix! I bought a used Jeep with a top I didn't like, I found a stock factory soft top someone was selling on CL. He told me he never used it so he has no idea if it leaks (haha yea right!) I knew right away when I put it on my top things were not lining up with the windshield correctly. I did my homework and found this part. I ordered it, installed it in about an hour and it works PERFECT! No more leaks, and no horrible loud wind noise! If you have an older stock Jeep top and you have these issues near the windshield area this will fix the problem! This new part seems sturdier than the factory original part.

I had a bad encounter with a telephone pole cable in the dark which caught the corner of my top and subsequently broke the windshield channel. After a couple jeep dealerships tried to give me the run around about having to replace the whole top, I ordered the windshield channel from Quadratec, watched 2 videos online... and voila... about 1 1/2 hours later with the help of one friend the top is back on securely and good as new. No excess noise or leaks. Thank you, great product!!

My old channel started to warp and let air in while I was driving. It was cheap plastic. This thing is metal and not only did it fix the air coming in, it also fixed my passenger side door leak that has been leaking for 10 years! Great product!

Works Great and seals tight

Excellent product. Very hard to install but it works great. No more water leaks over my dashboard
