Bought this for my offroading adventure. I did scrap the bottom of it. Not bad. But glad i got it. Easy install. Hardest thing is holding it up, it is heavy. But that is what you want with a skid? Right? Happy with purchase.

Wow this is one serious piece of hardware , I almost feel sorry for the rocks.

Fits like spandex over the differential. Note that the skid plate is about a 3/8 shy of extending past the rear diff cover, but I believe it will do the job of protecting the differential when called into service.

I am a drivetrain technician by trade and look at fitment and design. Also installation time and appearance. This skid plate is well made in all areas. It even protects the pinion gear and CV or u-joint from damage. A good addition for any Jeep.

This product is a beast. You cant find better rear diff slider... Heavy duty and engineering to mount easily, properly and solidly...

An amazing AEV product. We have an AEV JKUR and I have slowly been adding a few things that didn't come stock from them. This was one of them! Wow this thing is a monster. You will be super pleased. It is a bit of bear to install in you have a few years on your JKU like I do. Any surface rust makes sliding it into place a little tough, but manageable by all means. I just rested it on my stomach and got it into place. It is very heavy and very well made!!

This thing is BA. As a structural engineer, I didn't like all the others that utilize the casing bolt holes - that's not getting the load off the casing. Love this one - takes the load to the axle and thicker/stronger part of the case. Also protects where the drive shaft enters the casing. Quality product.
