The Superchips Flashcal+ 3581-JL device for the Jeep Wrangler JL can be removed when it's not in use, but it needs to be plugged in to access certain functions: Monitoring gauges: The device can be removed if you're not monitoring your gauges. Switching information: The device can be removed if you're not switching information around on the fly. Live Features: The device needs to be plugged in to access Live Features, which are accessed with the engine running. The device has four red LED indicator lights on top to indicate that it's plugged in and ready to go.

Have a 2021 Rubicon with holigin headlights, have a set of factory mopar led headlights, will this allow me to change settings to run the led lights
Yes, this would allow for that. "Lighting Config, allow optional installation of Standard or LED bulbs: Front Turn, Tail Lights, 3rd Brake Light"
Two questions: 1) Can this combat the Rubicon locker sensor issue? Where the sensor sends a signal that the locker is engaged when it is not. 2) I watched the vid, did not see anything on controlling when cooling fans come on. Is there anything in the program that controls when the fans come on? Thanks
No, it does not. Zautomotive offers a bypass harness Zautomotive Locker Bypass Harness. It does not appear the Flashcal + can control your cooling fans. Sorry for any inconvenience.
