Reviews for Oracle Lighting 5876-023 Oculus Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 55-86 Jeep CJ, 97-18 Wrangler TJ, JK, & Vehicles with 7" Round Headlights
I'm torn. I really love the look of these. I think it's the best look out there. Unfortunately, on my '14 JK Wrangler Sport, they can't be installed correctly. While the Oracle install video shows the need to move the horn out of the way on the driver's side to make room for the large heat-sink housing, what they don't show is that on the passenger side that housing touches the power steering fluid reservoir. This prevents the headlight from seating into the stock Jeep headlight housing. Unfortunately, I had to return mine. I couldn't make them work without moving the power steering reservoir. That's above my skill level. The two stars equals a 10 for looks and -8 for fit. Sorry Oracle. I wish it worked out differently. (Oh, but these look so cool)...
This light does not fit TJ (any model year), despite the claims made by the manufacturer and further described in the product description and video here. The dimensions of this light from the heatsink to the tip of the beam shield prevent a flush installation when mounted on the headlight bracket and does not provide access to the bezel screws. So best case scenario - you get a non-adjustable, misaligned headlight with no bezel.
I got the headlights, easy install. Noticed the halo/ring on one of them was not turning on. After further inspection, you could hear something rattling inside. I’m still waiting from Quadratec to replace it. I know that could happen with any product, due bad handling transportation. As of now 1 star, will see if that changes later on.
