Reviews for Oracle Lighting 5876-023 Oculus Bi-LED Projector Headlights for 55-86 Jeep CJ, 97-18 Wrangler TJ, JK, & Vehicles with 7" Round Headlights
Absolute unit of headlights. Looks great at night and unreal when you first unbox. Great headlights and worth every penny.
Just had mine installed today is it normal to have like a blue light showing also? My Jeep is Hydro Blue wasn’t sure if it’s picking up the outer part of the light encasement? Other than that love them so much better than factory!!!!
Solid headlights. So much better than anything on Amazon. These really light up the road once you dial them in. Great value for the money. You won’t be disappointed.
This light looks really nice on the JK, its easy to install. Very bright halo and very bright projection led on the road, way better than the factory Halogen or Amazon no-brand headlights. Only drawback with this or any bi-led is that the beam cutoff is very strong so you can notice it move and the edge of the cutoff has a slight blue tint.
Looks great, much brighter and better beam pattern than my previous rough country headlights, the high beam is like a light bar.
These Oracle lights are not only brighter than stock, they also have a very sharp upper cutoff which makes aiming the lights simpler. The upper edge of the light field shows an annoying blue edge, but the rest of the light pattern is pure white. Clearance of the headlights for installation required adjusting a bracket on the drivers' side as shown in the directions video. On the passenger side, my experience was that I was able to fit the light in without other adjustments after I did some wiggling of the wiring harness that came with the lights. Some installation comments. First, the #15 Torx bit that you need for the install. You need to know that the set of bits that came with your JK (hardtop, soft top kit) does NOT include a T15. Also, even if you have a T15, if it happens to be a short bit on a socket for a wrench, you still won't be able to get the install done. You need a long skinny T15, either a screwdriver type or a long bit to drive with a drill. This applies not only to the initial removal of the old lights but also to the later adjustment of the new lights - the adjustment screw is also T15 and has very little clearance for the driver. I had reinstalled the grille before adjusting the headlight aim and did not discover this until after the grill was back on. Another item: wiring the haloes to the M9 circuit as they suggested does work, but the first time I did it, the crimp on connector they supply to connect the halo wire to the circuit jumper pulled out when I closed the fuse box lid. It did stay after I recrimped it, and I guess this explains why the circuit jumper has such a thin wire. Eventually I plan to change the haloes to a switched control when I add other switches for aux lights. For my install, I used about 8 zip ties to secure the new headlight wiring to the existing wire loom. A cleaner install would have run the new wiring through the loom, but the zipties secure the new wiring well enough to keep it pretty safe in my opinion. The new lights are not only bulkier (in the back) but also somewhat heavier than the stock ones, but I did not weigh them. I found that I had to raise the aim of the new lights quite a bit vs. how stock had been setup, so be sure to check your aim. Despite the blue-edge light field, I am still rating these a 5, because the price was noticeably lower than higher end lights. Visibility has improved from stock.
Look. Price. Availability.
These lights look sweet on my '16 JK unlimited. The wiring was super easy as everything needed came in the box. The passenger side light, however, was difficult to install as it was hung up by 1/4 inch on the RAS III sensor (yellow clip box) that is on the bottom of the back of the headlight assembly. Just could not get it to fit even with loosening the power steering overflow tank and manipulating all the wiring back there. Ended up loosening the bolt to the RAS III sensor and pushing this down a little (although I cannot recommend doing this as it may compromise the effectiveness of this safety sensor). Then the headlight slipped in smoothly.

Nice looking set of lights. I like just the plain white halos, I'm not a fan of all of the crazy colors. Super easy install. I did have one issue though. The ground wire isn't long enough to go to the fender. I had to cut off the ring terminal that's installed on the ground, splice in a longer piece of wire and install another ring terminal. I also used some diagonal cutters to cut a small notch in the fuse box so the power wire for the halos wouldn't get pinched between the fuse box and lid. Other than the issue with the ground wire I am very pleased with these lights. They are bright so make sure you have them aligned correctly so you aren't blinding on-coming traffic.
