These were easy to install. awesome no more prop rod needed.

Great quality! Tip: Thread all 4 screws through the 4 bracket holes first, to wear off the paint and make threading them once installed easier. Otherwise it was a smooth install!

Pretty simple install, and now my hood opens automatically when I undo the latches! The brackets are nice and heavy duty, so there is no worry of failure. I would suggest running the the bolts through the brackets that mount to the hood. It will save you a headache later.

Install was easy although I optrd to go to the YouTube video since the instructions are 95% pictures only.
There is one extra long bolt in the kit you won't need unless your Jeep is a diesel....after a second closer look the instructions do address that but it's in small print in a lower corner.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is cost........a bit pricey IMO.

Would have been a quick installation if the threads in the inserts matched the bolts. The inserts had course threads while the bolts were fine thread. Once installed it works just fine.

I wanted the convenience of doing away with the prop rod.
I'm rating a four, based on all the five star ratings, and photos in the listing. But I just ordered it, so I haven't tried it yet.

Quick install, works great, BUT the top screw for the hood was a little long and I could see it starting to push on the other side of the hood, I shortened the screws by ⅛ inch and there’s no issue now. Just watch the other side of the hood when tightening the bolts.

In these COVID-19 days of shortages, my order was directly shipped to my residence by the vendor. Item arrived ahead of the rest of my order and without damage to it's packaging or contents. Good directions and an easy install. IfI were to add anything to the instructions it would be to darken the color or note the fire wall for placement. Unlike others selling these, there was no need to drill holes or hood being pulled (forward). I recommend this product and am so far very satisfied with it's shipping, ease of install, and build quality. Rival should be considered if looking for arguably the best hood prop rod.

Installation level 1 - easy to follow instructions, installed in less than 30 mins.

I saw these recommended on a YouTube content channel for easy mods for your Gladiator. I ordered these from Quadratec. I would give this 5 stars, but I will explain the 4 stars:
1. After ordering, I got a message that this was being direct-shipped from the manufacturer. There was no further information on shipping status, order status, etc.
2. After not hearing anything for over a week, I reached out to Quadratec. They had to open a ticket, and reach out to the vendor. I was told "shipping next week".
3. It took 3 weeks to get :(
4. When it arrived, it's stamped "Made in Russia", hence, the time delay...

The kit overall was packed well. The struts are made in Germany, and are quality. The brackets and hardware all seemed solid. The instructions were all pictures, and were pretty clear to follow. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the kit...

I'm not happy with the shipping debacle. Hence, 4 stars vs 5.
