One of the easiest mods I've done to the JL. Watched the video a few times and actually brought it up while doing the install just to be 100% sure I was doing it right...the first time. Super easy and what took the longest was inserting the 2nd screw on the top part.....getting it straight without moving around was challenging, so I tightened up the one inserted first and it brought it close to where I could insert the other one. I was able to pump the shocks 5-6 times with zero issues. Just be careful not to do it too hard and bend it. Overall love that I don't have to mess with the prop rod....Neighbors must have thought I was crazy cuz I must have opened and closed the hood 10 times testing it.....love it.

Installed the Rival hood kit today. Nice, easy, no-mod install. Parts fit perfectly on my ‘21 Rubi.

Took me more than 15 minutes but less than 30 because I just took my time. The upper brackets did cover over onto the hood pad just enough that if I ever want to remove the pad, I’ll have to loosen up those brackets.

I’m often skeptical of some hardware-type mods because some can be tricky or just don’t work right. No such issue here.

These are stiff shocks. As soon as I un-latch the hood, it lifts easily by itself. For the money, this is a great addition.

And as always, Quadratec shipped fast and packaged it up well. Their videos are great too.

Just ordered it last week, installed a couple of days ago. Easy to install, no mods needed. Works great. Instructions say to compress and release the shocks about 5 times before installation. I found it very hard to do. Therefore, I installed, then lifted and lowered the hood about 10 times. Seems to work. Love the hood lift kit. Jeep should have included these.

Super easy installation! Struts are perfect to smoothly lift and hold the hood up even in winds

These hood struts are engineered to perfection fit and work perfect. It's so rare to find something made correctly and that works perfect. Use some tape to hold back your weather stripping while you install the mounts on the hood. These should be installed at the factory. Highly recommend these vice the cheapy ones where you have to drill into the hood.

Awesome product. Easy to install. Any time I work on my Jeep, the prop rod no longer gets in my way.

Just installed these on my 2023 Wrangler. Well made and comes with very strong gas struts. Installation was a breeze.
