Installed this remote start right before a snow storm. Installation was easy (mine was factory keyless entry) took about 45 minutes and the most difficult part was trying to contort my body into the floorboard to wire tie the device out of the way. Highly recommend, works great, as long as I remember to turn the heat on high defrost the night before I can walk outside to a warm and clean windshield.

Very simple install on the side of the product, the Jeep itself was the only pain.

A little tricky to install. I had to trim the flange on the steering wheel housing cover to get it back on. Otherwise, if you have the tool to remove your steering wheel, which isn't mentioned in the instructions, you will be able to work around that problem, but once I was done, it worked great if I'm close or it's in my driveway. My Jeep JK has a factory keyless entry system, so I didn't need the extra antenna and other parts to install, but I believe for a longer range of activating the system, you may want to consider getting the package that has these additional parts. I need to be within about 3oo feet in order for the remote to be activated and, I'm not sure, but I think if I had those added parts it would be a little more convenient to have a longer range.

I really wanted to go into the winter with the ability to start my Jeep remotely. I had looked at other models but wasn't sure about the quality. I didn't really want to pay a large amount to have one installed. This was a convenience not something I had to have. But, the Klein worked better than I could imagine. The install could have been a little easier. Especially when it came to the "programming" aspect.

The remote and start feature work really well. I can start it from inside my work and by the time I get to the parking lot, the Jeep will be warm. I was impressed with the distance that this worked. I can't complain about it in anyway, really. Thanks Quadratec for carrying this awesome product.

Works flawlessly but the installation is very tough as the wheel steering collar is abseloutly not easy to remove without braking it, videos on internet show you before and after but never during removal and one crew hole broken too, nothing you notice but its there, i recommend ;-P

Easy to install and works flawlessly

Installed overnight and works great thus far. However, if you have a mid year 2016 or newer JK it is rather difficult to remove the lower steering column panel as shown in the instructions due to a "lip" in the plastic. This was done by Jeep as a theft deterrent. I haven't able to reinstall the panel due to the "lip." Short of cutting off this "lip" with a Dremel, it would have likely been easier to remove the steering wheel to begin with. This should be noted in the instructions.
