This is one of those things you don't need until you install it, now I can't imagine the Jeep without it. I have factory remote start on my 20WK2 that I rarely use but I use this one every time.
It also helps with the common HVAC switch problem that takes up to 30 seconds to work once started. Remote starting will make up for this time without sitting in a hot vehicle waiting for the A/C to work, I'm sure the same will be great in the winter.
The instructions are 90% clear. Some frustration when I waited until after 6PM to install it and it was still an oven in the garage. Just take your time and read slowly.

Absolutely a great investment for my jeep.

I like this option immensely. It comes exactly as advertised and goes in exactly as stated. Easy to install. I had opportunity to contact Klein and found them to be very knowledgeable and willing to help in any way. I live in Minnesota and have used it more than my key to start the Jeep. Not to mention the cost savings over having a shop doing the install.

After 12 years of going out in the cold Wyoming winter wind I finally decided to add this to my jeep. Install was quick and very easy! I highly recommend this kit if you are looking to add a remote start.

Good and easy install once the trim is removed. If you have a late model JK (16-18) you will want to invest in a plastic trim removal kit due to the steering wheel cover having an extended lip the goes behind the steering wheel. I bought a cheap kit from Harbor Freight and it worked fine.
