Reviews for Oracle Lighting 5861-504 Sidetrack Fender LED Lighting System for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Turn signal and additional door entry lighting.
Lights! Want to upgrade the look of my car
My personal favorite modification so far. Lights a very bright and useful. Installation is a little bit of a pain, good luck getting through the firewall! Other than that, absolutely perfect.
I am a CPA and managed to put these in. I could not figure out how to go thru the firewall on the passenger side, so I connected another wire as an extension and went thru the driver side. these are great!
Suggestion... tap into the turn signal for the amber light, and tie into one of the aux switches and make the white light part of your rock lights.
excellent fit and great benefit with side marker.
Received my lights today. Easy install on a 2019 JL. The only issue I ran into was removing the plastic rivots. They are not reusable so you will need new ones to put the inner fenders back on. Do a simple download of the instructions and a quick YouTube search to make install easier.
LED lighting that doesn't cost several thousand dollars. And adds to visibility in traffic.
Works as advertised. Nice upgrade! Installation took a little longer than expected, supplied wiretaps didn't work so great, and supplied spades did not insert firmly into wiretaps. Had to go back and hardwire connections. Other than that I enjoyed the install and I love the end result!
Looks like I hoped and all the extra functions I wanted. I have JL 2021 Freedom. The referenced how to video was helpful and included instructions were a great starting point but there are a few things I’d like to have known. A good tip I found was to file a groove on the existing vent to make the wire pass through fit perfectly. I needed 6 replacement plastic pop rivets, heat shrink and hi heat fabric electric tape. I only needed to remove the 2,3&4 pop rivets, counting up from the back of each wheel well. Also the best way through my passenger side firewall is the nipple located on the top of the rubber grommet. Cut off the tip, lubed up a 10awg solid copper wire and threaded it through from the engine side easily into the passenger footwell compartment. Plug and play.
