Reviews for Body Armor JL-2965 Rear Full Width Base Bumper for 18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL

I got this bumper and the matching tire carrier. The carrier sags very bad. Like down into the cutout in the bumper for the tire bad. When fully closed it lacks about an inch and a half of coming into contact with the rubber bumpers that hold everything tight. All I could get out of Body Armor is that it's an installation issue. There's only one way to install it. It goes together how it goes together. Holes for bolts not slots, so no adjustment. The pivot point is bearings in races. You tighten it down and it's self centering. Clearly manufacturing defects but Body Armor isn't going to do jack about it. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this brand. I'm gonna have to cut the carrier off the pivot point and reweld it center to get it to hit the bumpers and plate the bumper so I can drill plum holes to get the spindle to stand up square to eliminate the sag. Then after all the cutting and welding I'll have to get it all burnt off and repowdercoated from the cutting and welding. 0 stars for manufacturing and less than zero stars for customer service from Body Armor.
