Reviews for Quadratec Radius LED Lights
Compact design and 180 degree flood.
Very nice aux light. Solid construction with easily adaptable mount.
Great flood for the price. I mounted direct to Metal Cloak front bumper for a 30’ wall of light in front of me. IMO, too wide for A-pillar mounting unless 1) you have a dark colored hood, or 2) you angle them more as ditch lights. My only complaint is that once you price in an appropriate A-pillar Mount, you start approaching the price point of brands such as Baja Designs or Rigid (non-professional versions). Build quality is top notch, and I love the fact that opaque covers and amber covers are both available and fairly priced. Contemplating picking up a 2nd pair for mounting in front of winch. These would aim forward, and the existing radius lights mounted just to the sides of the winch would be aimed off towards 45 to ensure the brightest widest 180 degrees possible, starting right at my grill.
Really nice look and fit. Easy enough to install, took about an hour. Mounted them on the A pillar with the Fishbone Offroad FB21015 Windshield Light Brackets. Look great together.
Received these as a gift and used them to replace my old spot pattern A-pillar lights. These do a much better job at providing light in all directions. I can use them as ditch lights but still have the capability to light up the front of the Jeep too. I used existing mounting hardware and wiring harnesses, but install was very easy.
Bright
Great way to add more side lighting. I have these mounted at the A-pillar/ windshield location using American Trail Products brackets (36180002). First I will say that if you use that mount you will need to enlarge the light mount bolt hole for the included mounting bolt- quick fix no big deal. As for the lights they are not insanely bright, but are in my opinion just bright enough without causing you to squint etc...I am using the amber light cover as well. My JT has the factory led lights, which are impressive, these lights provide additional lighting to the side of the truck, basically straight out the side from where the light is mounted (almost a 180 degree light pattern). This is great for offroading, allowing you to see beside you when making tight corners etc... Initial quality seems very good, mount is sturdy. I cannot speak to long term durability yet, and I did not purchase with the wiring harness as I have factory aux switches. Just as pictured the part without the wiring harness does include the wiring pigtails with deutsche connectors.
Lights worked well and were easy to install with the kit. Unfortunately the housing on both lights is not completely water proof and lets moisture in. Recently one of the lights stopped working.
