Reviews for Yukon Gear & Axle Complete Front & Rear Ring and Pinion Kit for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT
Had a local shop install the kit. After reading several reviews I was worried about receiving a lot with the wrong parts. All of the correct parts were there and took the shop a day to have my gladiator back. Labor cost was $2400. Went from 3.73 to 4.88. Currently running 37's and was finally able to see 7th and 8th gears. Power restored and a little more mpg. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
Kit was complete as in the description but did come with the wrong bearing for the rear yoke. My shop had to order a new bearing from Mopar to complete the install. 2 days turned into 5 day install. Other than that everything went smoothly.
Excellent packaging and waiting for instal
Complete kit.

The Dana 30/35 kit I received for 4.56 was good except the crush sleeve in the rear overhaul kit was wrong. It was too big (inside diameter). Called Yukon, they said call Quadratec. Quadratec said they didn’t have the correct part. Had to drive 110 miles round trip to obtain the part from a Jeep dealer. Poor customer service.
When I initially recieved the first full set yukon had put some wrong pinion bearings into the front master install kit so I had to send that back. After that the initial setup it went alright. But again the m186 master install kit from yukon had issues, carrier bearing shims were for a different model, so I had to use some othere from my collection. Front master install comes with 2 crush sleeves, rear comes with 1, rear has stock style double roller bearing on pinion with plastic cage. If yukon went to the stronger tapered needle bearing for the rear and put stuff in the right boxes id give this 5 stars.
Recive order. And in 1 master kit not was big bearing. You ship me 2 small bearing.
Worst gears ive ever tried to set up. Ive done several gear swaps with other brands no issues, tried yokons nothing but problems would not recomend yokon to no one
