Can you run just the White halos without the Switchback Turn Signal Y Splitter Adapter?

Will these "Oracle Lighting 5769-123 LED Projector Headlights with DRL and Turn Signal for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK" fit into a TJ, so i can use the Halo as a turn signal too?
These will mount to a TJ and are plug-and-play for the headlight. The halo DRL/turn signal will require cutting/splicing to work.
I'm seeing a few contradicting comments in the q&a and in the reviews regarding the Y harness. Are there two of the Y harnesses now being included with this head light kit for the turn signal function?
This would come with the plug and play headlight harness, the "y" splitter would be an additional cost and is available here

Hi, I'm not an expert when it comes to wiring. I thought the installation was only plug and play. But when you connect the headlight and the adapter and to the factory plug (2018 Willys JK) there is the black cable from the headlights left and that I don't know where it goes or if a Y adapter is needed to use that cable and to be able to use the halo. Thanks.
