Reviews for JKS Manufacturing Front Quicker Disconnects for 18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Ease of use
They work fine and were relatively easy to install, don't miss the part where you have to cut a pretty hefty metal tab off your Jeep. The one bolt was not threaded enough to fully tighten on the remaining tab. They send me another one but still needed more threads. I added a washer and everything went fine.
I had the same issue with one of the threads being damaged from the factory. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until after I had already cut the stock mounting tab off my axle. I was able to put one on the passenger side, and use my stock linkage while waiting for JKS to make it right. They were initially responsive, and offered to send a replacement, but forgot and had to be reminded when I didn’t receive anything after several days. Ultimately they made it right but I’m not overly impressed. They otherwise work as described.
I had a lot of difficulty installing these due to the very bare-bones instructions. There are not enough quality pictures of each step to really know if you're correct or off course. Plus, they're very vague. I'm still not sure they're installed 100% correctly.
Cant get the hardware to stay tight. Now the bushings are shot and everything rattles. I guess I’ll have to buy something else.
One of the links arrived defective. The threads on the inside of one of the links seems like they weren't cut properly at the factory which leaves me unable to adjust the length. I tried carefully loosening it up and using some oil in the threads, but the threads are clearly not right. Even if it broke free I still wouldn't trust the threads inside the link. I'm not sure how this passed through QC since I noticed the problem about 10 seconds after opening the box.
