Reviews for Quadratec Softbond 5-Layer Cab Cover for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Very good material ,strong and easy to install.
Bought one of these mostly to use at night to keep the dew off the interior and a just in case I got caught in a storm without my top. I live 20 min from my warehouse where I store my top when it’s off. Last night in South Jersey we had very strong storms, rain and hail. Downed trees everywhere and debris everywhere. I anxiously watched out the window for 2 hours and the cover stayed on. This am I went out and the Jeep interior was dry! Highly recommend this cover. When I ordered it a few months ago it came quickly. Good price and quality
Love the cover! Light guards are easy install and high quality for price. Same for the cover.
This cover works great. Works as advertised. Excellent choice for people who do not have a garage to store the Jeep in once it is topless. I have used it with the top off and top/doors off. The fit is extremely snug and tough to get right at first, but I let it sit on the Jeep on for a couple hot days and it seemed to have stretched it out enough to get better coverage. I had it on during a downpour and flash flood and only minor amounts of my floor mats had water on them. Probably due to how much water had pooled up on top. That being said I leave this on as much as possible but if heavy rain for more than a day is in the forecast I would suggest putting the top back on.
Durable material that keeps the weather out but won't be rough on the paint. It also seems to be easy to install
It is a gift
I really like this top. Good material and hardware. It kept out most water from a couple hour long rain. Knocked off one star because the bungee straps for the rear taillights seem to work but not sure of them in a strong wind. Time will tell.
Hi,
Great cover. It really protected my jeep during a tornado storm with 70 mph winds and rain. It stood the test throughout the storm and overnight, it never fell off! One thing i would recommend to change is the hooks. I think they should be protected with a rubber type stopper at the end. I say this because as I was putting it on one day the hook got stuck in my seat belt and as i pulled it over not knowing it was stuck it ripped the seat belt. It was sad seeing my seat belt damaged, i just bought my jeep too. Plus it also has the capability to scratch your paint. Just a thought. Thanks.
Good unit. Does not fit as tight as needed for me. It does not drape low enough to cover the door openings on both sides and close out to the bottom of the windshield as shown.
Water does pool on the top and seeps in. Maybe better fit for the JK?
The material is soft cloth for paint surface just as advertised. Quadratec was amazing with the return process.
I have had my cover for less than a year and leaks right in the center into my cup holders. It just started it recently.
