Reviews for Quadratec Softbond 5-Layer Cab Cover for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Nice product. Wish it came with a drawstring bag
I actually bought this for my buggy which has similar dimensions to a TJ. It fits it very well! The material is different from what I expected but it’s thicker and seems well made. It should work very well for my application! I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it hasn’t been rained on yet but I’m not anticipating anything under the cover getting wet.
Took my doors off and used the cover. It did not quite cover my door area on my 1998 Jeep. I noticed that when putting it over the Jeep the stitching on the back drivers side was screwed up. I had to take out the stitching and resew the cover. Manufacturing on this item was not great but I made it work.
the seams are not waterproof. the number to call above is not in service
This cover is really nice but it's to tight to fit right, I hope they have one that fits better.
Even with the door surrounds off and the top down, the cab cover did not fit properly. The side mirrors were folded in but still caused fitment issues. The only way to get this to fit is to remove EVERYTHING. I wanted something that could be thrown over the cab with the fastback top up because I like running with the windows and upper half doors removed. It takes longer to drop the top and put the cab cover on than it does to just put the doors and windows back on. Unless you commonly run with your Jeep completely naked, I do not recommend buying this.
Over all the top is nice..... but by no means does it keep out moisture. There was water in the floor boards. Seats and everything else was dry. The top fits very snug. It takes some muscle to get the straps around the front window hinges and the rear brake lights. Also if you've got the diamond plate body armor on the sides the hooks won't clip into the lower lip.
Good fit. Felt cheap. Ripped after a few months. After heavy rain, leaked alot. Filled bikini top with a few gallons of water.
Amazing concept. But they do not take into consideration that 90% of jeeps have light bars and it won't fit over it. And the adjusters for the straps do not hold tight at all. A little bit of wind and the straps fall off.
Fit great. Leaked first on rain storm.
