Reviews for Quadratec Softbond 5-Layer Cab Cover for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Easy and quick to put on. Much better than the full, elastic sided cover I had. Would recommend for sure!
Great top. Took it with us to the beach in Assateque. Started to have a brief shower of rain, quick put this on and th he jeep stayed dry inside. Very durable but light weight. Nice storage bag with plenty of room. Well worth the money.
This is the quality cab cover I’ve been looking for. The fit is spot on and all of the seams follow the contours of the roll bar well. The straps are well thought out and in perfect position to keep the cover in place. The Spare tire strap is even big enough to fit over my CB antenna and still hold onto my spare. The plastic inserts for the rear half of the cab fit snug and secure in the factory soft top channel. I dumped a cup of water on the cover and after several hours the underside of the cover was still dry. I’m really happy with my cab cover Quadratec!!!
So, wow, I'm impressed. This product turned out to be even better than I expected. It fits like a glove (even with doors and surrounds on, but it's tight (note that the accompanying literature states it's designed to be used w/o surrounds), looks great (if that matters to you), and is thoughtfully designed. I was particularly impressed by the plastic tongue inserts that fit into the same grooves above the rear wheels as the soft-top side windows to hold the cover in place. It clearly would stay put even on a very windy day. There are elastic straps to secure the cover to the windshield hinges, to the tail lights, and even one to go around the spare tire, and there are hooks on adjustable straps that attach below the doors to the body pinch weld. Reasonable priced to boot! Nice work, Quadratec. If this stands the test of time reasonably well you've got a winner on your hands.
Price and good reviews.

Great product. I used it all summer. However the clamps under the door suck. They keep coming loose and don't secure well. I will have to modify them.
Just received cover for my 1998 Wrangler. Fist off, good quality, good price. Why not 5 stars? Well, none of the straps would hold: pull them tight, they immediately loosen like there was no bite in the buckle. I then realized the straps were threaded the wrong way through the buckle. I fixed and they work just fine now. I have picture if anyone wants to see.
I have to say, this emergency cover is top quality. Only thing I would change is the clips to be a bit bigger to grip on more places. I do appreciate the attention to detail that went into this top. So many straps to secure it to the body. Well done Quadratec.
Perfect for the quick cover, but it is snug and a light bar does make you make for some adjustments (i.e. I have to put the top down and have a boot to cover the top in the back). But still much quicker than having to put on the sides and back. Keeps Jeep dry.
