Hello, Is this product simply a relocation solution for the spare tire, or is it a tailgate reinforcement also? I see other solutions that either tie into the factory hinges or the replace them. This doesn't appear to reinforce the tailgate for the extra weight of an oversize wheel and tire. Thanks
Although the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount can be used alone it has been designed to be installed in conjunction with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier. Thanks for your inquiry.

hello I have just installed a lift kit and35 inch tires with 18 inch rims. my problem now is that the camera now sees the rim and the alarm censor goes off and the camera view looks like it in a tunnel . I need a camera mount that is longer than the stock hem mount. is your aluminum camera mount longer or adjustable in anyway .
