Reviews for LoD Offroad Destroyer Series Rock Sliders for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door
Okay, these are heavy duty slider/steps. Definitely need a second set hands (smaller ones helped a lot with some tight spaces); another bit of advice, tape the bolts to the plates, helps hold the bolts in while mounting and attaching washers/nuts. Once mounted, these things are stout, very solid and look great. The welds are solid, and I didn't see any thin or scratched powder coating. Packaging was excellent. Highly recommend.
Great product. Wish the mounting brackets were welded to the rails but I do like the adjustability with the nuts and bolts.
I already know from the brutle testing the computer these thru. Find the video. Strong, rugged tough look and no doubt will do its job when tested. Great reputation. Can't see giving the product a low rating bc I try to install solo and that's not always feasible. Often for me unrealistic. Product is quality 5 stars!
American made. Good balance between step and slider.
Has good reviews should protect body from damage and the steps is a good width to get in and out.
I got this in TWO DAYS!! I’m super impressed by that alone! Plus, I got them on sale!
These sliders were an “event” to put on, but they look AWESOME. No scratches or scrapes(other than the ones I did during the install), and they are heavy duty for sure.
Expensive but worth every penny. Only issue is one of the pilot holes on the frame was not drilled so you have to do that one yourself or live with one less bolt for stability.
Had to wait approximately 6 weeks but definitely worth the wait!! Received my LOD Destroyers for my 2020 JLUR without any defect or chipped powder coating. Install went smooth without any issue. These rock rails are definitely heavy duty. Very happy on the fit and finish and of course the look!!!
Product came well packaged. Not a scratch or nick (box is a good 100lb). Install was OK for one person (very easy for two) dam things weight a ton so it's hard to balance it on a a jack while trying to screw it in. Just be patient and careful if your alone, very easy to have it slip off the jack and scratch up your doors (and it will be ugly). Otherwise love them, strong, good ergonomics nice coating. No doubt this things will take one hell of a beating. I dropped one off my jack fully extended about 14" high, not a scratch - a testament of the quality of the coating.
High quality build and function. Also looks great.
