Bought it based on other reviews and yes you don’t have to remove it to get tops on. Only tips I might add is to install rear velcro tabs that attach to factory hardware at rear first since harder to get if in place. Second is if having hard time threading straps through snip off tiny section at end on slight diagonal.

The fact that you can leave them on and install the factory hard top over them. One less thing to do when removing hard tops. And my wife likes it!
